Such high spirits and fervor for celebrating our Indian Holi festival ! Although Hindus aim for unity, many of them do not get along with  each other and there is much competition, enmity, politics, and factionalism as there is in India and of which America takes advantage. Even though some or most Indians face racism in America, not only do Americans die for Indian food, saris, dresses and love its culture, American women find Indian men attractive because they are sensible and intelligent, earn good money and are well-settled and are more often committed in a relationship than their Western counterparts. These are the same American people, who are immigrants from another country, and have come for a better life and opportunities here. As a result, they try to dominate Indian culture, politics and movies and more Western women are being seen in Indian movie and ads these days. Sonia Gandhi of Italian origin is the prime example. They have suffered so much at the hands of Hitler that they want to take revenge of history and change the past. We must be careful, lest they might rule the world one day. Once again this song "Hym for The Weekend"   shows India's in poverty and bad light. Beyonce dressing as "Rani" is another issue. The status of women in India is clearly shown in this song. Indian women are known to be submissive, subservient, servile (meant to be in the kitchen), and  merely objects of desire. Although Indian and U.S. media have covered Tibetan human rights- it has not been done well. U.S. media reports have been flawed and not accurate enough-- there is room for more and Indian media reports have improved after the 2008 Olympics in China but could be better. The media just bends and writes more positive stories on the issue and much more investigation needs to be done as to why the Tibetans are self-immolating themselves.
