Chicago area has so many Muslims. I'm surprised to see so many Indian Muslims and shops belonging to Muslims coming up. I think, there are  more Indian Muslims than Indian Hindus in the area. Together with Indian religion and culture, popularity of Indian food is rising in United States. It is already very much popular in Britain. In America, it was introduced in the 1980s and has since risen. It will become even more staple in a few years to come. The fact is that Indian food can become addictive so it will keep getting popular. On the flip side, Americans of non-Indian origin adapt to Indian culture, clothing, and tastes. Indian culture is so popular now - it is almost at stake as they try to copy everything about Indian culture and often abuse and demean Indians. Most American gatherings, and get-togethers have a big spread of Indian food. It is racism in the worst possible form.
