India is a much abused country where women (Hindu) are treated like "animals." Perhaps, in no country with all its rules and regulations are  the conditions so bad as in India. Hope Prime Minister Narendra Modi does something for women's rights. As an abused woman, I feel the passing of the Indian Article 377- i.e. decriminalization of same sex marriage law, will help the situation for women. With same sex marriages being made legal, there is hope for the future.

The secret to happiness is freedom and the secrett to freedom is courage. Even as the Tibetan administration-in-exile faces problems, they are not afraid and have the courage to face their problems despite the dwindling number of Tibetans students going to TCV schools.
