Death of Professor Ronald Coase
Professor Ronald Coase, a founder of the field of law and economics and believed to be the oldest living Nobel laureate, died Sept. 2, afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chicago at the age of 102.
I had the pleasure of meeting him at a Roosevelt University auditorium function where he had come to give a speech on his research work on market economics. He also graciously signed my autograph book.
R.I.P. Prof. Ronald Coase!
