Media is not free. I had the misconception that media is free in America, but it has its restrictions.
Same goes for the police. Police is corrupt in America and now people are realizing that cops need to be monitored for their bad behavior. It is pretty much the same in India.
Casteism in India is the same as racism in America. Prime Minister Narendra Modi uses his food diplomacy and other tactics of economic growth to maintain his popularity.
Same goes for the women- the very fact that the MeToo movement started in the United States, means that women are mistreated and harassed just like in India.
America runs other countries and rules and divides them. It is no more "land of the free and home of the brave."
