Even Korean soldiers have engaged in atrocities. The Kaeson massacre when 13 American soldiers were kidnapped by Korean soldiers near the city of Kaesong in 1950 in the DMZ or demilitarized zone.

So if you think that that mentality has gone, it is still there. Even in America, many Koreans misbehave with Americans and other races. Be it in stores or in neighborhoods, they look sweet to talk to but that dominating nature is still there. Even Filipinos are like this to a certain extent.
We've all heard of Chinese atrocities against Tibetans and Uighurs- its minorities.
Also the Tiananmen Square massacre when thousands of students were massacred and China's Organ harvesting.
